PassTheNotes is proud to share that we ranked 3rd out of 222 business plan submissions. The annual Entrepreneur Challenge Business Plan Competition is designed to provide a platform for FIU students and alumni to showcase new ideas, while providing a forum to attract investment for their business models. The business model must prove itself to have breadth and sustainability; as well as demonstrate that it possesses, or can acquire, the resources to actually launch and be viable.
Since 2004, the Pino Center has recognized more than fifty-five noteworthy student business plans that have received a cash gift and have launched new ventures. This year, the Pino Center and the FIU’s College of Business have joined forces with The Miami Herald, and for the first time the Pino Center will be the naming sponsor for the Miami Herald’s Business Plan Challenge. You can read more information about the challenge and judges here. You can also see the Miami Herald article about PassTheNotes here.
